Patient Info Exposed via Vendor Phishing

Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester, New Hampshire, disclosed a data breach affecting nearly 2,792 patients. The breach was linked to Lamont Hanley & Associates Inc., a vendor of the hospital, who suffered a phishing attack on June 20, 2023. The breach potentially compromised names, Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, health, and financial account information of patients. As a response, the hospital will notify individuals affected and the vendor will provide complimentary credit monitoring services.
