Patients with sensitive health issues more comfortable making appointments with chatbots

Nearly two-thirds of US patients suffering from sensitive health issues now prefer to schedule appointments with chatbots over staff members, according to a Talkdesk survey. The survey also revealed that 62% of patients feel healthcare support has stagnated or declined in quality over the past year. Meanwhile, 51% of respondents believe that the application of AI will significantly improve their healthcare experience within the next year.
