Peraton Awarded $254M DSS Cybersecurity Contract

Cybersecurity firm Peraton has landed a five-year $254m contract to support the US Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS). In addition to incident management, threat analysis, and penetration testing, Peraton will help the DSS in cyber monitoring and forensics. The DSS’s main role is securing diplomacy and ensuring the security of US travel documents.
