Phishing campaign uses Word documents to distribute three malware strains
A new phishing campaign uses Microsoft Word documents to distribute malware that can log keystrokes, steal cryptocurrency funds, and extract sensitive data, according to cybersecurity firm Fortinet. The malware strains, called RedLine Clipper, Agent Tesla, and OriginBotnet, are delivered when victims open a malicious Word document sent via phishing email. The malware strains can change cryptocurrency wallet addresses, record keystrokes, and collect personal data from victims’ computers.
