Predator exploit patched in iPhones, iPads – Security

Apple has released a patch to rectify exploits in Intellexa’s Predator spyware, discovered by Google and Citizen Lab. The chain includes three bugs used to redirect HTTP traffic to attacker-controlled websites and possibly inflict remote code execution. Google plans a full analysis, while Citizen Lab connects the exploit to the dubious targeting of Egyptian MP, Ahmed Eltantawy. An Android zero-day that utilised a similar process was patched earlier.
