Pro-Palestinian Actor Levels 6-Day DDoS Attack on UAE Bank

A record-breaking, six-day distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack targeted a UAE financial institution with sustained request volumes exceeding 4.5 million per second. Cybersecurity firm Radware attributed the attack to pro-Palestinian group BlackMeta. Reportedly, the attack was conducted via the InfraShutdown service, which enables such operations for $500-$625 per week. BlackMeta, which may be linked to Anonymous Sudan and the pro-Russian Killnet group, typically targets entities seen as adversarial to its cause, including banking systems, tech companies, and government websites.
