Providence CISO offers tips for a ‘pandemic-ready’ cyber strategy

Seattle-based health system Providence quickly adapted to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic due to its ongoing digital transformation. The system implemented new clinical innovations and adjusted its consumer-facing tools to respond to the public health emergency. Providence’s chief information security officer, Adam Zoller, emphasized the importance of staying ahead of technology developments and having a documented cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals to reduce risks. Zoller will discuss Providence’s cybersecurity experience during a presentation at HIMSS21.
