Providers grapple with cybersecurity | Healthcare IT News
A recent cybersecurity survey conducted by HIMSS found that two-thirds of health organizations have experienced a “significant security incident.” Despite this, the survey found that organizations were not very confident in their ability to protect infrastructure and data. Many respondents expressed a need for more advanced tools and were highly concerned about future attacks. Lack of staffing, lack of financial resources, and the increasing number of emerging threats were identified as key barriers to cybersecurity.
