Qbot malware returns in campaign targeting hospitality industry

After a law enforcement disruption over the summer, the QakBot malware is being spread again via new phishing campaigns. This version of QakBot, which is delivered as a reply to an email thread, has undergone some minor changes and it is therefore believed to still be under development. Microsoft warns that the malware is being circulated in a campaign disguised as an IRS email.
