Qilin ransomware gang publishes stolen NHS data online

Ransomware group Qilin has released nearly 400GB of healthcare data after a malware attack on Synnovis, a London-based pathology laboratory that conducts blood tests for the NHS. Several NHS trusts and GP surgeries using Synnovis have been affected, resulting in blood stock shortages and cancelled appointments. Qilin had attempted to extort Synnovis, promising to release private information unless they received payment. Patient details and hospital account information have been released.
