Queensland begins telestroke pilot and more briefs
Australia’s Queensland government is piloting a $3.8m telestroke service at Hervey Bay Hospital, making it the last state to launch the service. In related news, the Department of Health and Aged Care plans to automate its monthly care statements, health tech startup didgUgo is partnering with InterSystems to improve IT system interoperability, and GPs in NSW’s Far West can now access patient-consented medical data through the state-developed Healthenet portal.
