Radware Full Year 2022 Report: Malicious DDoS Attacks Rise

DDoS attacks surged by 150% in 2022, with finance and technology being the most targeted sectors, according to Radware’s Global Threat Analysis Report. This increase was largely fuelled by digitalisation, the shift to remote work and state-sponsored cyber attacks. Moreover, web application and API attacks jumped by 128% year-on-year. Radware warned that these trends are likely to continue in 2023, with smaller, more frequent attacks expected.
