Rangely District Hospital in Colorado suffered a ransomware attack that targeted software needed to access five years of patient records. Although some files have been recovered, others are unavailable or have not been recovered. The hospital did not pay the ransom and the identity of the cybercriminal is still unknown. The attack did not result in the viewing or exporting of patient health information.
