Ransomware Attack on Synnovis Disrupts Pathology Services

Major London hospitals, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital, have been heavily disrupted by a ransomware attack on Synnovis. The National Cyber Security Centre and the NHS are working to assess and mitigate the impact. The attack has severely affected patient care and particularly disrupted blood transfusion services, causing some procedures to be canceled or redirected.
