Ransomware computer attack on London hospitals still ‘critical’ incident with operations cancelled

Major London hospitals are continuing to cancel operations after a ransomware attack targeting firm Synnovis disrupted their pathology services. The cyber-attack, first detected on Monday, has affected King’s College Hospital, the Royal Brompton, and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, among others, impacting blood transfusions and test results. Although some services are available, many non-urgent operations have been postponed.
