Ransomware gang threatens to release 3 terabytes of NHS Dumfries and Galloway data following ‘focused cyberattack’

INC ransomware gang is threatening to leak 3TB of patient data from NHS Dumfries & Galloway following a recent cyberattack. The gang posted evidence of the breach, including patients’ lab results, on its dark web site. NHS Dumfries and Galloway confirmed the acquired data belonged to them. Cyber threat intelligence firm, KELA, revealed network access to NHS Scotland was being sold on the dark web in July 2023.
