Ransomware-Statistik: Weniger Malware, aber mehr Opfer

The number of global ransomware victims increased by almost half in the first six months of 2023 compared to the second half of 2022, according to Trend Micro. Attacks have increasingly targeted smaller businesses, with LockBit, BlackCat, and Clop the most active ransomware families. The overall number of ransomware threats detected decreased slightly, but Trend Micro stressed that given the increased number of victims, companies need to maintain their cybersecurity efforts.
