Report claims Kaspersky ties with Russian intelligence; Company denies

A report by Bloomberg Businessweek suggests that cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Labs has possible ties to the Russian government, citing leaked emails from 2009. The emails allegedly show Kaspersky working with the Russian intelligence agency, FSB, on a project to protect clients from DDoS attacks. Kaspersky has denied these claims and stated that it regularly works with governments and law enforcement agencies to fight cybercrime. The company is currently under investigation by the FBI and President Trump is considering a ban on federal agencies using Kaspersky products.
