The UK’s largest National Health Service (NHS) trust, Barts Health, has suffered another ransomware attack, compromising 2.5 million patients’ data. The notorious gang BlackCat, also known as ALPHV, claimed to have stolen 70 terabytes of sensitive data and threatened to publish it on the dark web. The breach is the second of its kind in recent weeks, following a June cyber attack on the University of Manchester.
