Rhysida Ransomware Trains Its Sights on Healthcare Operations

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued an alert about Rhysida, a ransomware-as-a-service group targeting healthcare, government, and technology sectors among others. The group uses phishing attacks and Cobalt Strike to breach networks and demand ransom for stolen data. It recently disrupted 16 hospitals in the US and threatened to leak Australian healthcare data. Experts advise organizations to adopt good cyber defense strategies and monitor potential vulnerabilities for protection against such attacks.
