US drug store chain Rite Aid has experienced a data breach impacting over 2.2 million customers. Personal information including names, addresses, birthdates, and government-issued IDs were stolen. Ransomware group RansomHub has claimed responsibility for the attack. The breach pertains to retail product purchases made between June 2017 and July 2018.
