Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to numerous cyberattacks and cybersecurity threats, with warnings continuing to emerge. This increasingly integrated kinetic and cyber warfare has created the reality of ‘hybrid war’, according to Microsoft. Reports suggest that a Russian cyber crew is suspected of directing a new malware campaign called ‘Infamous Chisel’ at the Ukrainian military and that the US Cyber Command deployed a cyberwarfare team near Russia to combat malicious cyber activities in cooperation with Lithuania’s IT and Communications Department.
