Russian criminals behind ‘critical’ cyber-attack at south east London hospitals

A Russian cybercrime group named Qilin has targeted pathology firm Synnovis, severely disrupting operations at major south east London hospitals, including Guy’s, St Thomas’, and King’s College Hospital. The attack has led to significant reduction in service capacity, cancellations of operations and tests, and potential leakage of patient data.
