Russian hackers have launched a cyber attack on major London hospitals, disrupting services, affecting blood transfusions and test results, and forcing the cancellation of operations. The attack is believed to be the work of criminal group Qilin, who operate freely from within Russia, according to the former chief of the National Cyber Security Centre. The group have targeted companies and institutions for financial gain in the past.
