Russian hackers responsible, says former security chief

Russian hackers, known as group Qilin, are believed to be responsible for the cyberattack on the NHS that led to cancelled operations and admissions in London hospitals on Monday. The group operates a ransomware-as-a-service model, using malware to disable systems and demand money for data decryption, according to Ciaran Martin, former head of the National Cyber Security Centre.
