Russian terrorist group Killnet has taken responsibility for cyber attacks in Romania and threatened to target NHS ventilators in retaliation for the arrest of a supporter in London. This individual, part of Killnet and a supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was arrested in the wake of a cyber attack on Romanian government and media websites. Killnet has demanded the release of the suspect within 48 hours or it intends to attack medical infrastructure in the UK, Romania, and Moldova.
