S4x23 Review Part 2: Evolving Energy Cybersecurity

Small businesses with limited resources struggle with challenges in cybersecurity, especially within the energy sector. The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) has developed a solution, the Threat Analysis Center (TAC), designed to help these businesses secure their distribution grids. This tool provides a community focused, affordable, and interoperable solution while incentivizing and supporting decision-making. The future shows promise for significant increase in solar power generation, so the Solar Energy Technologies Office is focusing on cybersecurity maturity within this sector.
