Scotland gets FairWarning of breaches

Northgate Managed Services is set to roll out FairWarning’s privacy surveillance system across all 14 NHS boards in Scotland. The system, which recorded success when trialled at NHS Lothian and NHS Borders, identifies suspicious behaviour in regard to patient record access and prompts preventative action. This includes snooping and password sharing. The results of this are said to generate efficient returns on investment.
