Secure Connected Places External Advisory Group – minutes 7 March 2023

During a meeting, DSIT discussed the completed Alpha Playbook project to strengthen local authorities’ cyber security. Feedback was proposed, and members shared their thoughts on engaging the community and adjusting guidance. DSIT also discussed its transition from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, along with updates on its various policy workstreams. It also shared information from a recent visit to Japan and South Korea, focusing on connected places and cyber security implications. The next meeting will likely occur in June/July 2023.
