Sen. Young, others introduce bill to improve cybersecurity in health care

US Senator Todd Young and others have introduced the bipartisan Healthcare Cybersecurity Act to improve cybersecurity in healthcare, following a ransomware attack on health payment platform Change Healthcare. The act will require the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the Department of Health and Human Services to collaborate on cybersecurity improvements and provide resources relating to cyber threats and defence measures.
