Senators introduce bill to bolster healthcare cybersecurity

A group of bipartisan senators have introduced the Healthcare Cybersecurity Act, which directs the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to develop strategies and resources to bolster cybersecurity in healthcare. The bill also proposes the creation of a special liaison for coordination. This follows a massive data breach at Change Healthcare in February.
