Senators introduce bipartisan healthcare cybersecurity legislation

Senators Jacky Rosen, Todd Young, and Angus King have introduced the Healthcare Cybersecurity Act with a goal to enhance healthcare cybersecurity. The bill intends for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) to collaborate on enhancing sector cybersecurity and distribute resources about cyber threats and defense. It also proposes a liaison within CISA to coordinate responses during cyberattacks.
