Sentara Health has transformed into “One Sentara” – a strategy to align its provider and payer organizations to offer a seamless and affordable experience to customers. Prior to the re-alignment, the system operated as two independent businesses causing confusion and duplication of services. The new system includes a clinical access center, an omnichannel experience, and data management enhancements. Future plans include using external data to improve patient insights and a customer experience dashboard to identify and address issues.
