Sequoia Project tackles TEFCA under FHIR

The Sequoia Project is requesting feedback on its Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) drafts, with responses due by 5 February. The updates are aimed at supporting health interoperability and will facilitate the exchange of patient data via Qualified Health Information Networks. The revisions are expected to boost the electronic case reporting procedures required under TEFCA, enhance nationwide data sharing infrastructure and ignite robust provider participation in data exchanges.
