ShadowSyndicate Cybercrime gang has used 7 ransomware families over the past year

Cybercrime investigations firm Group-IB has identified a previously unknown cybercrime gang, known as ShadowSyndicate, which has constructed a network of over 80 command-and-control servers for malware implants in the past two years. ShadowSyndicate is believed to be either an initial access broker or a partner working with numerous ransomware-as-a-service operations. The group has demonstrated versatility by using seven different ransomware families within a year.
