Smartphone users warned to delete these 17 dangerous apps
Cybersecurity firm ESET has warned users to delete 17 popular finance apps from their smartphones as they contain malware. These apps, known as SpyLoan apps, can be found in Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store and have had over 12 million downloads. They masquerade as loan services but steal personal and financial data. Users are advised to delete the apps immediately and change their passwords.
