Solent NHS Trust patient data left at market stall

A BBC Freedom of Information request revealed that Solent NHS Trust has breached data protection 93 times in the past two years, with patients’ confidential information found in public places and faxed or emailed to the wrong people. Trust director Michael Parr called this regrettable, noting that most instances resulted from human error, and assured patients that the trust treats their sensitive data responsibly.
