Some operations canceled as cyberattack disrupts patient care at hospitals in London

Several major London hospitals have been forced to cancel operations and appointments as a result of a cyberattack on the National Health Service’s contractor, Synnovis. The company said it was hit by ransomware, which affected all its IT systems and interrupted many of its pathology services. The NHS has apologized and said it is working urgently to understand the scope of the attack.
