South Tees and North Tees trusts to work together after NHS investigation

Two UK NHS Trusts, South Tees and North Tees, will collaborate following a probe by NHS England into breaches of confidentiality by North Tees. The investigation found North Tees had sought to discredit South Tees, potentially damaging the NHS’s reputation. The collaboration will not result in a merger, but a joint chair role has been established. Both trusts hope to attract and retain specialist staff through the partnership.
