Hospitals are using digital twin technology to provide personalised care. Dr Mohamed Rehman from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine explained that this technique involves monitoring basic health data and creating individual “digital twins”, possibly scaling up over time. The technology was used by Rehman to track post-surgery patients and the mental wellbeing of healthcare workers.
