Surescripts is being considered as a hub for data exchange under QHIN

Surescripts Health Information Network, a subsidiary of Surescripts, is aiming to become a Qualified Health Information Network under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). It is being considered as a data exchange hub by the Office of the National Coordinator. If designated, it would act as a broker facilitating data exchange among healthcare providers, payers, and pharmaceutical companies, among others. The network has advanced to the candidate phase of the QHIN designation process.
