Suspect arrested over the Transport for London cyberattack

A 17-year-old has been detained by the UK National Crime Agency in connection to the cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL). An investigation into the attack, which was first noticed on 1 September, has revealed that customer data and financial details of around 5,000 people may have been accessed. The suspect has been bailed pending further inquiries.
