Switzerland’s e-voting system has predictable implementation blunder

The Swiss Post e-voting system has a basic flaw, according to Swiss computer scientist living abroad, Andreas Kuster. He found instructions for the secure return-code-checking system were only on the voting website, so if a voter’s computer had malware, they could be directed to a fake site with bogus instructions. Kuster exposed the vulnerability after Swiss Post failed to act.
