Anonymous Arabic, a Syrian-origin actor, has launched a remote access trojan called Silver RAT with the capability to evade security software and launch hidden apps. The group, also linked to the S500 RAT, operates on several hacker forums and social platforms. They distribute cracked RATs, leaked databases, carding services and social media bots. The Silver RAT malware can connect to a C2 server, log keystrokes, destroy system restore points, and encrypt data with ransomware.
