System Shock: How A Cloud Leak Exposed Accenture’s Business

A data exposure incident revealed management and corporate consulting firm Accenture had left secret API data, decryption keys, customer information and other data exposed via the company’s Accenture Cloud Platform. The data was exposed by four imperilled Amazon Web Services S3 storage buckets. The exposed Accenture data could have been used to target the 94 of Fortune Global 100 and 76% of the Fortune Global 500 companies it lists as clients.
