T-TEER shows promising outcomes in severe tricuspid regurgitation patients after one year

The Tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (T-TEER) treatment has shown significant reduction in the severity of secondary tricuspid regurgitation and improved patients’ quality of life. A trial of 300 patients, conducted in France and Belgium, found that those who had T-TEER with optimal medical treatment saw their condition and life quality improve more than those who only had medical treatment. More data is expected as the trial continues.
