The NHS is urgently calling for O Positive and O Negative blood donors to donate following a cyber-attack last week at a pathology clinic in London. The NHS said three blood donations are needed every minute to deal with emergencies, childbirth and routine treatments, highlighting the necessity of continually replenishing blood supplies, particularly in cases where a patients blood type is unknown. Nearly 13,000 appointments were available nationally last week in NHS Blood Donor Centres.
