The 5 Pillars of IT Security (according to the NHS)
The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) is a target for cybercriminals seeking to access 60 million patients’ medical records, so the UK government has developed a five-point strategy for improved cyber resilience by 2030. The plan involves prioritising patient-care based systems, collaboration between regional NHS ‘trusts,’ cybersecurity training for all employees, embedding security into evolving technology, and improving responses to security breaches. Details of post-implementation are expected to follow this summer.
