The biggest private biotech investments in August 2024

In August 2024, Borealis Biosciences, Outpace Bio, and Halda Therapeutics captured the largest private biotech investments. Borealis Biosciences raised the most, securing $150 million in a series A round, while Outpace Bio and Halda Therapeutics raised $144 million and $126 million in series B rounds, respectively. However, despite 21 rounds of funding, only $1.129 billion was raised, making August the slowest month for biotech fundraising in 2024.
