The biggest private biotech investments in July 2024

In July 2024, the largest private biotech investments were in Cardurion Pharmaceuticals, Beacon Therapeutics, and Third Arc Bio. Cardurion raised $260 million for late-stage clinical trials, Beacon secured $170 million for ophthalmic gene therapies development, and Third Arc Bio raised $165 million for oncology and autoimmunity studies. Despite fewer funding rounds, more money was raised in July compared to June, with a higher increase in Europe and Asia-Pacific than North America.
